AFI (Week of November 6th, 2022)

Hey everyone! This week I started off with office hours. Just as always, office hours primarily consist of collecting and totaling the surveys we take at shows. Again, these surveys allow Stage AE to understand their audience better for each show, and to help gauge who they should bring to the venue in the future.

On Saturday, November 12th, I worked the AFI show. Although I only know one song from them and couldn't stay to watch, it was still interesting to be there. Personally, I enjoy seeing the demographic each concert brings in and seeing what their fanbase is like. The opener, Drab Majesty, is a gothic shoegaze band, and AFI is more of a punk, gothic rock band. The promo table got a good handful of people, and we gave out prizes such as koozies, pens, chapstick, and sunglasses!
