The Goo Goo Dolls (Week of September 19th, 2022)

Hey everyone!

This week at Stage AE was a little more relaxed. I was there on Thursday, the 22nd, for The Goo Goo Dolls. Personally, I don't listen to them that much, but ever since I was young Iris has been one of my favorite songs of all time. As the weather is changing (fairly quick too), the outdoor show season is coming to an end. For this show, it was on and off rain a few minutes before doors opened, and the temperature dropped fast, making it chilly all night. That being said, I was surprised to still see so many people in attendance as it was an outdoor show.

Previously mentioned, I don't really listen to The Goo Goo Dolls often but I still enjoyed their set. I missed their opener, Blue October, but I did hear them during soundcheck and liked them. While doing the promo table, I noticed a lot of Blue October shirts, which indicates that their fanbase is pretty consistent. Overall, I enjoyed this show despite the sudden change in weather.
